Antepartum
Extended care that provides state-of-the-art medical management and expertise in high-risk assessment pregnancies. Meet the patient needs providing art, massage, yoga, and relaxation therapy.
Behavioral Health
Acute psychiatric, medical detoxification, and addiction-related issues.
Cardiopulmonary
Cardiac, pulmonary, and stroke patients that could have COPD, CHF, or pneumonia.
Clinic Setting
Specialty clinics such as urology, pain management, cancer treatment, women’s health, pediatrics, as well as primary care clinics where you can learn and grow.
CSU (Clinical Support Unit/Float Pool)
Float to multiple hospitals and learn various specialties.
Emergency Department
Critical/urgent patients including stroke, cardiac, and septic.
Home Health
In-home resources for all ages from newborn to long-term illness, disability, post-op surgery, respiratory treatment, and wound care.
Hospice
Pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support offering stability and comfort when it’s needed most.
Intensive Care Unit
Units vary and could include med/surge patients (septic, intubated, cardiac arrest, balloon pump, renal failure, DKA, overdose, GI bleed, ETOH withdrawal, COPD, open heart, thoracotomy, vascular, and neuro).
Labor and Delivery
Units vary, skilled in the high-tech aspects of birthing as well as therapeutic touch, natural birth support, breathing techniques, and water therapy to help you become skillful for every birthing experience.
Medical/Surgical
Units vary, post-surgical abdominal, vascular, urology, bariatric, pulmonary, urological, gastrointestinal, renal, endocrine, gynecology, infectious diseases, plastic reconstructive, and autoimmune patients.
Mother Baby
Units vary, care for newborns and their mothers.
Neurology
Spine surgeries, neck and back including pediatric 13 yrs+, brain surgery/tumor removal, VP shunt placement for hydrocephalus, deep brain stimulators, vascular/neuro-interventional procedures.
NICU
Units vary, serving extremely premature newborns and newborns having difficulty transitioning to extra-uterine life. Many include ECMO, complex cardiac surgery, gastro, neuro, and musculoskeletal treatments or surgeries.
Orthopedics/Ear, Nose, Throat
Total joint replacements, acute fractures, epilepsy monitoring, and post-op EENT.
Oncology
Autologous and allogenic blood and bone marrow transplants (BMT), chimeric antigen T-cell receptor (CAR-T) therapy, and outpatient infusion.
Pediatrics
Units vary, care for children from infant to age 18 for a variety of illnesses, diseases, and surgical procedures.
PICU
Level IV NICU and a 13-bed PICU (Boise only)
Rehabilitation Hospital (Inpatient)
Occupational, speech, physical, and recreational therapy for stroke, brain/spinal cord injuries, amputation, knee replacements, cardiac, medical, and generalized weakness.
Skilled Nursing Unit/ Rehabilitation
Sister unit to the Inpatient Rehab Hospital. Patients require daily OT, PT, and speech therapy with significant medical oversight to reach their discharge goals.
Surgical Services
Perioperative 101 courses train nurses to be a circulating nurse in the operating room.
Telemetry
Patients with acute and chronic complex cardiac diagnosis (stroke, COPD, renal impairment, postsurgical, respiratory failure, sepsis)
