About St. Luke's Rehabilitation: Meridian, S. Eagle Rd., Suite 2106
Our team offers both orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation services with specialists in physical, speech-language and occupational therapy.
Orthopedic therapy helps you recover from an injury or surgery, and can improve functional movement when you have a chronic condition. We can address a wide range of issues, including arthritis, work injuries, sports injuries, urinary incontinence, side effects of and recovery from cancer treatment, and pain management.
Neurologic therapy supports individuals recovering from trauma or illness that affect the brain, spinal cord, or nervous system. Areas of focus include:
- Neurologic physical therapy: Focuses on improving movement and mobility—such as walking, transferring, or using a wheelchair. Therapists work to restore strength, coordination, and balance, manage pain related to neurological conditions, and assess the need for mobility equipment.
- Neurologic occupational therapy: Helps individuals adapt to physical or cognitive challenges so they can live as independently as possible. This may include support with self-care, home and work tasks, visual or coordination issues, return-to-work planning, and upper body function.
- Neurologic speech-language therapy: Addresses communication and swallowing difficulties. Therapists evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, social communication, memory, attention, and swallowing disorders
- Neurologic behavioral health: Licensed clinical social workers provide compassionate support to patients and families navigating the emotional and practical challenges of neurological conditions. They offer counseling, advocacy, and help connect you with resources to support your well-being and recovery journey.
