For more than 120 years, St. Luke's Boise Medical Center has been committed to serving the needs of our growing region. Founded in 1902, St. Luke's is Idaho's largest health care provider, providing you access to highly skilled physicians, specialists, nurses, and staff within a friendly campus designed for healing. Known for clinical excellence, St. Luke's Boise is nationally recognized for quality and patient safety, and proud to be designated a Magnet hospital, the gold standard for nursing care.
Our medical center offers an emergency department, advanced inpatient and outpatient surgery, mother-baby services, diagnostics from X-ray to MRI, state-of-the-art cancer treatment, critical care, and more. The campus also includes a wide range of primary and specialty physician clinics and St. Luke's Children's Hospital, the only children's hospital in Idaho.

Volunteers help make St. Luke's a friendly, warm, and welcoming place for patients and their families. Whether it's a happy event, like the birth of a new baby, or a stressful one, like a serious illness, you can make a difference when it matters most.
On-site Amenities
Ease the stress of hospitalization with easy access to helpful items and a thoughtfully curated selection of specialty gifts. Located in the main lobby, our gift shop is run by St. Luke's Auxiliary volunteers, who direct all proceeds to benefit health-related programs at St. Luke’s and in the community.

Note: Due to infection control policies, flowers are not allowed in some units, such as the NICU and adult critical care. Non-latex balloons and cards are encouraged for patients in these areas. Please inquire at the unit’s nursing station to find out which items are allowed.
Note: We do not offer online ordering. There are third-party vendors online that offer gift delivery services to hospitals across the country, including St. Luke's, but we have received numerous reports of significant delivery delay and order non-fulfillment. Please proceed with caution when choosing a third-party vendor.
Overnight Accommodations Near St. Luke's Boise

The Idaho Ronald McDonald House provides lodging for families who live outside Ada County, and who have a child (18 years or younger) hospitalized or receiving medical treatment at Boise area medical facilities. A patient or family must have a medical referral, and guests under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
On-site Amenities
- Transportation is available.
- Kitchen and laundry facilities are available.
- Food/meals are provided.
- There's a fenced yard with playground equipment and an indoor playroom.
- A manager is on duty 24 hours/day for emergencies.
