Dr. Harrison earned his bachelor's degree at Yale University and completed his medical degree at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. After his neurosurgery residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Dr. Harrison performed his fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia, with a focus on brain tumors and skull base surgery.

I was not presented with any treatment options. I was referred for surgery and he told me he would not do surgery because he thought it would probably resolve on its own, without any regard to my required activities of daily living. When asked low long I should just do nothing, he said maybe 3 months, maybe a year. That is not an option for me. I work in manual labor and I am raising 6 small children.

No information provided that gives me relief. Doctor did not know anything about me. Doctor in room took a glance at my chart and proceeded to move forward with explanations.
