Description
The Luke Award, presented annually by St. Luke’s Health Foundation Children's Advisory Board, recognizes individuals and businesses or organizations that have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to fundraising efforts for the Children's Hospital.
Every year, hundreds of volunteers and businesses support special events to raise funds and awareness for St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital. Thousands of hours given by these individuals and organizations have helped ensure that the children of our region have the depth of pediatric medical services only available at a children’s hospital.
As the Luke Award is held in such high regard, this year it will take center stage during our Celebrate Giving Donor Reception—a special evening dedicated to honoring the incredible friends and donors who drive our mission forward. By elevating the Luke Award to a broader platform, we aim to shine an even brighter spotlight on the extraordinary contributions that fuel the success of St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital and celebrate the meaningful outcomes achieved for the children in our care.
“Luke is the essence that resides in every child receiving care at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital. From a teenage boy with cancer to a little girl injured on the playground, Luke is the strength children pull from to battle illness and mend wounds. Luke helps our critically ill young patients to smile and gives them the courage to face life at its most difficult. And Luke is, above all, the compassionate spirit of everyone who has helped the young patients at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.”
