    Personal Care in a Hospital Setting

    Our certified nurse-midwives are advanced-practice registered nurses who have specialized training in both nursing and midwifery. A nurse-midwife functions as the primary care provider for a woman and her baby during pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Midwives most often provide care for healthy women whose pregnancies are uncomplicated and not high risk. They work closely with a physician at every stage of your pregnancy.
