Athletic Training Residency Program

St. Luke's Athletic Training Residency Program was founded in fall of 2011. The 12-month post-professional educational program for certified athletic trainers provides advanced preparation of athletic training practitioners through a planned program of clinical and traditional education in orthopedics.

To advance the athletic trainer resident's preparation as a provider of patient care in the specialty area of orthopedics and create the groundwork for athletic trainers to become a multifaceted and intricate member of the interdisciplinary health care team.

Our Retention Policy

The resident will receive a salary stipend, full benefits, and continuing education budget. Salary is based on years of experience practicing athletic training and determined by St. Luke’s Human Resources department.
