Pediatric Trauma

At St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital in Boise—Idaho’s only pediatric trauma center—our team provides specialized, around-the-clock care for children with serious or life-threatening injuries. Verified as a Level II Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons, our pediatric trauma surgeons and staff are highly trained to deliver expert care in a child- and family-centered environment.

We work closely with emergency transport services to begin treatment even before a child arrives, ensuring the fastest possible response. Once here, our hospital offers comprehensive support for recovery—medical and emotional—through emergency care, inpatient units, rehabilitation, social work, and injury prevention programs.
