Communication Support
Ensuring Clarity and Understanding
At St. Luke’s, clear and effective communication between patients, their companions, and health care providers is essential for quality care and positive health outcomes.
Qualified interpreters for American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken languages are available 24/7 at no cost. Interpretation services are provided via video, phone, or in person to ensure accessible communication for all individuals.
How to Request an Interpreter
When scheduling your appointment, please let us know if you or your companion will need an interpreter.
If you're admitted to one of our hospitals, simply inform your bedside nurse that interpretation services are needed—we’ll take care of the rest.
