Expert Pediatric Care in Spaces Designed to Comfort and Heal
St. Luke's pediatric units provide family-centered care to patients from infancy through adolescence. We understand that children have different needs than adults, and require the special attention and skills our staff can provide. Our pediatric units feature advanced technology, as well as the procedures and care practices that have been shown to result in the best recovery for children.
Our designated pediatric units at St. Luke's Children's Hospital, St. Luke's Magic Valley, and St. Luke's Meridian are staffed by specially trained pediatric nurses and designed as environments that help comfort children and ease their pain and fear.

Your Child’s Hospital Stay
At St. Luke's Children's, your child's health, safety, and security are our top priority. We want you and your child to be as comfortable as possible during your stay. Whatever your child's age—from infant to pre-teen to young adult—our doctors, nurses, and other caregivers are ready to provide the special attention and care you and your child require.
Because Healing Takes a Village

Children's hospitalists are pediatricians who provide inpatient medical care for hospitalized infants, children, and teens. At St. Luke's Children's, our hospitalists work with a child's primary physician and pediatric subspecialists to coordinate referral, admission, and care in a seamless manner.
Because St. Luke's Children's Hospital is their primary practice site, hospitalists are more familiar with the hospital than most pediatricians. They are also able to spend more time with a patient, and are in constant contact with the child's regular pediatrician.

Staying Inspired and Active
St. Luke's Children's Hospital School
At St. Luke's Children's Hospital School, we support the intellectual development of our patients as part of their comprehensive care—working with them so they can keep pace with their classmates, and ultimately return to their community schools and teachers.
Pediatric Music Therapy
On any given day, music can help support your body, mind, and spirit. Music therapy can be especially powerful during a hospitalization, offering a way to help you manage emotions, cope with stress, and express yourself.
Child Life
Creating a calm, nonthreatening, supportive environment to help your child cope with the stress of the hospital experience.
